Preston Steinle (QI 259) issues the following letter to alumni requesting their attendance at Homecoming 2009.

Brothers,

Homecoming will be here before we know it. Homecoming is Sat, Oct 24, 2009. We will start as always with our state of the alumni chapter meeting at 8:00 a.m.. I realize this is early for some. We will not have much time to get through all that we have to get accomplished before the parade at 10:00 a.m.

Itinerary for Alumni Meeting:

• Brief presentation on what the alumni chapter did the past year and goals for the future
• Progress for funding Mark Olbert Scholarship
• Review of our account balance in the Alumni Chapter bank account
• Presentation on proposed program to improve tracking of graduated alumni, ability to pay dues by credit card.
• Housing Corporation will give a report
• Election of Alumni Chapter officers, and housing core officers
• We will be collecting dues at the meeting. You can pay by check or credit card. Over the past three years our collections on alumni dues have dramatically been less than in previous years. Please come prepared to pay your dues. As a reminder to be able to vote you must be current in payment of your alumni dues.
• We will have doughnuts and coffee for those that want something to eat at the meeting. The meeting will end in plenty of time for those that want to attend the parade. The alumni will be having their traditional cookout with a tent in Peck Forrest. (Next to Peck Hall)

I want to encourage all alumni to come out for homecoming. Bring all your loved ones. This is a great day to bring children to watch the parade. The university will have games and attractions for children. This will also be a great time to see brothers and friends you may have not seen for years. I can promise if you decide to come you will not be disappointed.
