Homecoming 2009 Itinerary Announced

Greek Life Prepares For Future
Posted Fri, May 8 2009 Many organizations won awards during the past school year, including Sigma Nu, which won Most Improved Chapter, Outstanding Risk Reduction Programming and Outstanding Public Relations awards. Brother Brandon McNary, who is currently vice president of the Interfraternity Council for recruitment, said he hopes Sigma Nu will continue to have good public relations and represent Greek life in a positive way. Chapter Attains GOLD Standard Posted Tue, Apr 21 2009 For the first year since its re-chartering, the Theta Iota Chapter attains the GOLD Standard Award this evening, the highest Greek Award given to MTSU's fraternities and sororities. Also awarded: Most Improved Chapter, Outstanding Risk Reduction Programming, Outstanding Public Relations, Man of the Year - Brandon McNary, and President of the Year - Brandon McNary. Crabtree Wins Mr. MTSU Competition
Posted Mon, Apr 20 2009 Brothers of Theta Iota Chapter represented Sigma Nu at the annual Mr. MTSU competition hosted by Chi Omega tonight. David Crabtree (QI 479) finished first place and took home the crown. Alumni along with actives celebrated after the event.
Chapter Spring Pilgrimage Planned To Headquarters
Posted Tue, Apr 7 2009 Over the weekend of May 22-24th, chapter members will travel to Sigma Nu Headquarters in Lexington, VA. The chapter is expected to initiate its spring candidates at Sigma Nu's birthplace. After the ceremony, the Brothers will tour VMI campus with renewed discovery and greater understanding of the Ritual's esoteric principles.

Commencement Features Brigadier Haston
Posted Tue, Mar 17 2009 Brigadier General Terry M. "Max" Haston, Assistant Adjutant General of the Tennessee Army National Guard, will deliver the spring 2009 commencement address at 1 PM May 9th in Murphy Center at MTSU. Brothers Anthony DeFerio (QI 352), Matthew Kessler Ray (QI 444), Rick Billings (QI 504) will be graduating from the Active Chapter.
McNary Voted MTSU SGA President Posted Mon, Feb 16 2009 Brandon F McNary (QI 458) will begin his 2009-10 SGA presidency in May. He will represent over 20,000 students at MTSU as well as coordinate major MTSU events, including Homecoming, AIDS Quilt, Habitat for Humanity, and Make a Difference Week. Theta Iota Chapter Advisor Announced
