The Brothers of Sigma Nu elect J Scott Edge (QI 390) as their Commander for 2006. On Sun, Dec 4th, Edge along with nine other newly elected officers were sworn to uphold chapter and national bylaws under authority of a charter granted by National Headquarters as prescribed by The Law of Sigma Nu. Alumni/Senior Hockey Night Out

On Saturday, December 3rd, 2005 @ 7:00 p.m., the Theta Iota Alumni Chapter will sponsor Sigma Nu Alumni/Senior Hockey Night Out with Nashville Predators vs. Philadelphia Flyers. We estimate at least 50 alumni, seniors, and guests at this final official event of 2005. [more]

Fight Song Champions -- 3rd Year

This evening, the Brothers of Sigma Nu along with the Sisters of Phi Chi and Chi Omega placed first in the annual fight song competition. The event took place at Murphy Center and the theme was SHOW YOUR BLUE RAIDER SPIRIT.

Homecoming 2005 is our official gathering each fall. The dates are October 12-22th, 2005. The theme for this year's Homecoming is SHOW YOUR BLUE RAIDER SPIRIT as we participate with the lovely ladies of Phi Chi and Chi Omega. $1,000 To Benefit Boys & Girls Clubs

This fall, The Gentleman of Sigma Nu will donate 200 MTSU football tickets to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Rutherford Co. Both actives and alumni along with friends of Sigma Nu raised $1,000 during the month of August, making dreams come true for hundreds of underprivileged children.

Fraternal Relief / Hurricane Katrina

The destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina and the resulting aftermath is capturing the attention of the world. Sigma Nu alumni living in the coastal areas of Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama total nearly 1300, with approximately 750 residing in the New Orleans metropolitan area. Knott Appointed to High Council

On Jun 15-19, 2005, Brothers Brandon S. Knott (QI 368) and J. Scott Edge (QI 390) connected with Sigma Nu brothers from around the country at Washington and Lee University, Lexington, VA. After the conference, brothers, along with staffers and alumni, toured Sigma Nu Fraternity Headquarters, VMI, and Washington and Lee University. [more]

Anniversary Attracts 220 Attendees

Outstanding Chapter Award -- 4th Year

For the forth consecutive year, MTSU awards Sigma Nu "Outstanding Chapter" for 2004-2005. Also awarded: President's Cup (MTSU), Best Chapter Advisor - Tony Marable (MTSU), and Most Outstanding Community Service (IFC). Commander Brandon Knott accepts the awards on their behalf. [more]

Chapter Conducts Southeastern Institute
