On May 3, 1970, the Theta Iota Chapter of Sigma Nu at Middle Tennessee State was chartered and a new fraternity was born. On April 7, 1995, after a ten year dormancy, Sigma Nu was rechartered at MTSU and forged into the most Outstanding Chapter at MTSU - three years in a row!

On April 30, 2005, the Theta Iota Chapter of Sigma Nu will celebrate two special anniversaries commemorating the origins of our beloved fraternity. Please join us for this momentous occasion.
